Zara is a Singaporean artist-printmaker based in London. After graduating from art school, she worked in the commercial art world for over a decade before returning to undertake her MA in Print at the Royal College of Art.
Working predominantly with etching, her practice explores the core of human experience in contemporary life. Drawing on the nuances of everyday living, and the poetry of our environments, Zara crafts narratives through illustrative abstraction of space and still life. These visual metaphors capture moments of familiarity that deepen the awareness of our shared humanity, in an increasingly disconnected world.
