Originally a painter ( studied at HFBK in Hamburg and at the Royal College of Art, London ) and after a detour into sculptural ceramics TG is now working on paper, exploring the area where drawing and print overlap.
He taught in Nigeria ( Nsukka University in 1987 ) and in China ( CAFA Beijing and XAFA Xi'an in 2013 ) for 24 years at The National Gallery and City Lit. 2023 winner of both the Woolwich Contemporary Printmaking Prize and the Printmakers Prize.
