I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the language of the land. I recently completed an MA in Print at the Royal College of Art, supported by a Leverhulme Trust Scholarship. My work stems from long-term engagement with a regenerative site in East Devon, examining how art can foster understanding of environment, stewardship and the changing landscape. Before this, I worked for thirty years as a creative director and graphic designer. I was Charter of the Forest Maker-in-Residence at the Society of Antiquaries and teach the year-long programme The Language of the Land with Land Art Collective.
My work forms a diaristic land archive that traces our relationship with land and nature. I reflect on how decisions become part of the landscape's memory. Work emerges through sustained attention, where creativity and land management intertwine, embedding consequence and care within making. I gather oak galls, bone, wood, soil and plant fibres that act as both medium and record, carrying the land's memory and rhythms. Landscape is a living system extending deep below the surface, one we are part of and responsible to.
