Shivangi Ladha explores the intersection of the body with social, political, and ecological movements through layered drawing and printmaking. A graduate of the Royal College of Art (MA Print, 2016), she transforms personal emotion into shared narratives.
She is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies, including the TAF South Asia Emerging Artist Award (London, 2021), a nomination for the Queen Sonja Print Award (Sweden, 2020), and residencies at Women’s Studio Workshop (New York, 2021), East London Printmakers (2019), SNAP Studio, Canada (2019), and Print Center New York (2018). Her accolades also include the Anthony Dawson Young Printmaker Award (2017) and the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2014).
Her work has been exhibited internationally at spaces including Art on Paper Fair (New York), E/AB Print Fair (New York), STPI (Singapore), Serendipity Arts Festival (India), and the Royal Academy (London). Her works are held in the collections of the British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Mead Art Museum, RISD Museum, Anant Art Gallery, and Reliance Foundation. Her work has also been featured in Art in Print, Fukt Magazine, Platform Magazine, to name a few.
Her contribution in the art field is recognised by BenUri Museum Research Unit, UK.
