Sabrina Rosenheim
£0.00
Sabrina Rosenheim's work inhabits an in-between: between languages, between presence and absence, between identities.
Her practice spans painting and hand-painted animation, examining the unpronounceable nuance of contemporary society and the discomfort of assimilating past and tradition into the present, rooted in her multilingual heritage.
Rosenheim's series Ghost Prints explores the stillness of moments between actions, drawing on the Japanese concept of ma, the negative space that gives shape to what surrounds it. The title borrows a printmaking term for the faint second impression left by a plate. The monotypes are themselves ghost images: fleeting impressions that pass almost unnoticed. They invite a quiet contemplation of belonging, language, and what slips through the cracks.
Based in Milan, Rosenheim graduated in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London (2021). She was selected as an RBA Rising Star (2022) and awarded the NG Art Creative Residency & Galerie Heimat Prize (2024).
Recent exhibitions include Beyond These Walls II at the AkzoNobel Art Foundation, Amsterdam (2026) and solo exhibition Language in Between at Galerie Heimat, St-Rémy (2024).
Her work has been presented at ArtVerona (2025) and ArteFiera Bologna (2026) by Mimmo Scognamiglio Gallery, and is held in international collections including the AkzoNobel Art Foundation.
