Often contrasting the slickness of those online spaces with the roughness of unpredictable monotype printing and torn up collage; I’m interested in the pressures, the voyeuristic pleasures, and the isolation that often come along with the contemporary world. The aspirational images that bombard us and that we ourselves create.

In this series I have combined water- based ink monotypes with direct ink drawing. The pigment seeps out. It pools and drips.
In these works, odd couples inhabit artificial tableaux-like scenes.
Bathers, self-conscious in the spotlight; posturing and preening. Caught in a performative, relationship dance.
