Gracey is passionate in her pursuit to push lithographic boundaries and create prints that articulate a sense of place, depicting windows into vistas that constitute moments in a journey. From lively adventures to explorations of energy, form and colour, Gracey draws us into her way of looking, breathing light between the shifting forms of rural and urban landscapes. Her most recent series ‘Urban Tapestries’ explores the interconnected weaving of life within familiar surroundings. ‘Quiet Untangling’ uses the curves of a vine to depict an easing of pressure in summer months. ‘Borrowed Light’ takes the name from a builders’ technique to create light through hidden planes of glass. In 2025 Gracey was awarded ‘Printmaker of the Year’ at Printfest, Ulverston, had a solo show ‘Placing Time’ at Zuleika Gallery, Oxford and a solo show ‘Resonance’ at Sliding Water, York.
