In recent work I have focused on busy city spaces; comparing them to more peripheral or marginal landscapes of urban space, often referred to as the outskirts or the rural-urban fringe.
I use my drawings as a reference point during the printing process in which I combines a variety of processes including etching, drypoint and mono-printing. Frequently, the accidental nature of printmaking, and the quality of line achieved in the process, will ultimately determine the final outcome.
