Recent research has expanded her practice from post-industrial landscapes to the rapidly changing Arctic. In 2026, she was selected for The Arctic Circle Residency in Svalbard, where witnessing retreating glaciers and shifting sea ice deepened her exploration of environmental change. Through the rich tonal qualities and intricate mark-making of intaglio printmaking, Jemma creates works that invite viewers to slow down, look closely and reflect on the fragile relationship between people, place and the natural world.
