As-a-visual-artist-I-work-across-printmaking,-installation,-and-mixed-media,-examining-how-landscapes-are-occupied,-transformed,-and-lost-over-time.-My-work-begins-as-site-based-explorations,-where-engagement-with-place-informs-mark-making,-image-making,-and-mapping. Having-studied-at-LASALLE-College-of-the-Arts-(2022)-in-Singapore,-my-practice-expanded-from-ecological-concerns-to-a-broader-investigation-of-colonial-histories-and-land.-I-am-pursuing-an-MA-in-Print-at-the-Royal-College-of-Art,-London,-researching-landscapes-in-Mumbai-and-London.-I-am-a-recipient-of-the-Sheila-Sloss-Award-(2026),-Printmakers-Council,-London. Printmaking-sits-at-the-centre-of-my-practice,-primarily-image-transfer-and-etching,-mediums-materially-distinct-but-conceptually-linked,-where-an-image-transforms-as-it-moves-from-one-surface-to-another,-leaving-a-mark-that-is-both-trace-and-new-object. Play-functions-as-a-research-method.-The-sliding-puzzle-recurs-as-a-metaphor-for-environmental-shift,-each-block-moving-only-by-negotiating-the-space-beside-it,-a-logic-I-extend-into-modular-installations-echoing-urban-structures-while-allowing-organic-forms-to-intrude.-This-is-grounded-in-one-question,-have-we-been-colonising-our-nature,-a-pattern-of-occupying-and-absorbing-land-into-new-identities.
