David Stone works out of his print studio in London. He graduated in 1978 from St Martin’s School of Art and has a degree in fine art painting. He works in photopolymer gravure and uses his own original digital imagery.
His recent print making explores the quiet power of objects. Those that surround us, linger in memory, spark unexpected emotions, through association and the personal narratives that are embedded in the everyday. Above all, his goal is to create work that invites reflection in a light-hearted and thoughtful way.
His prints have been exhibited at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, the Bankside Gallery, and Royal Birmingham Society of Artist Gallery.
