I make images where people, animals, plants and landscapes become entwined. Working across digital collage, painting, printmaking and drawing, I construct imagined worlds where history, myth and contemporary life coexist. Familiar places become quietly transformed, inviting multiple readings rather than a single fixed narrative. I keep returning to our relationship with the natural world, exploring the contradiction that we depend entirely upon nature while behaving as though we exist apart from it. Through recurring motifs of figures, flora, fauna and landscape, I explore themes of ecological fragility, memory and the passage of time. Beauty invites the viewer in, while closer inspection reveals quieter tensions beneath the surface. My practice combines traditional printmaking and painting with the visual language I developed through a career in digital design. Bringing these disciplines together allows images to evolve through layering, revision and chance, where unexpected relationships often emerge. Ultimately, my work is about looking as much as it is about the environment. Rather than offering fixed meanings, I create space for viewers to bring their own memories and experiences, allowing interpretation to unfold between the artist's intention and the viewer's imagination.
