Alexandra Jabre
£0.00
Alexandra Jabre (born 1985) is a British-Lebanese artist based in London. Working across painting, sculpture, and printmaking, her practice explores consciousness and the invisible ties that shape human connection.
Drawing on ancestral memory and inherited trauma, Jabre creates symbolic worlds in which figures and celestial forms evoke relationships that transcend the boundaries of time and space. Balancing the personal with the universal, her work invites viewers to reflect on unseen energetic and karmic threads.
The works submitted to Imprint extend this ongoing investigation through monotype. Each print is a unique work in which layering, repetition, and chance become integral to the image, allowing ghost forms and memory fragments to emerge.
Jabre studied at Brown University and worked in financial services before committing to her practice as an artist. She has a foundation diploma from City & Guilds in London and received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York.
Jabre has further developed her practice through residencies, including two months at Worlding Project, London.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in numerous private collections. Recent highlights include her solo exhibition Connections with Galerie Analix, Geneva. Forthcoming exhibitions include MENART, Paris, and Galerie Tanit in Beirut.
