Alli is currently working on a series of prints playing with the idea of the modern day fairy tale. The traditional role of the weak female protagonist has been subverted - and she has taken charge. The imagery is informed by obvious Fairy tale tropes, and relationship’s of those in Alli’s orbit. The feel and colour are a deliberate homage to Chagall’s dreamlike prints.
Due to time out for family illness, Alli is presenting two finished works and two as WIP ( initial drawings). This print series will have a cohesive feel, using the same techniques as the two finished works.
