Eugenia Popesco, born Chertsey UK 1993, based in London & Dorset. Eugenia is a contemporary visual artist who works within a multi-disciplinary practice, spanning; printmaking, painting, drawing & installation. Her practice is concerned with social histories and landscape. Often finding a voice for these subjects through the transient status and alchemy of the printed image. Eugenia studied MA Fine Art (Print), at the Royal College of Art 2015-2017 (awarded full bursary for study) and BA Illustration at Camberwell College of Art 2012-2015 (first class honours). Eugenia has exhibited nationally as well as internationally. Exhibitions include: RA Summer Exhibition 2025; Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 10th Edition, 2025; ‘The Doorway Effect’ ASG Gallery, 2025; International Original Print Exhibition, Bankside Gallery, 2024; ‘REVERB’ Visual Arts Scotland 2022; ‘Milieu & Moment’ Zhejiang University, China 2021; solo exhibition of works, Import Building, London 2019-2020; Gilchrist-Fisher Award 2018, Rebecca Hossack Gallery; ‘The Odious Smell of Truth’, Hockney Gallery 2017; ‘Output’, Southwark Park Galleries 2017. Eugenia’s printmaking has also been commissioned by clients such as the Tate Modern for gallery poster designs. Eugenia’s work is held in private collections internationally.
