Kirti Virmani (b. 1995) is an Indian-born visual artist based between London
and India, working across photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Her
interdisciplinary practice centres around ideas of rebellion within and hope.
What she observes becomes the source material for what she constructs and
destructs through her print and sculpture practice to navigate, and reconfigure
the existing gender narratives that she finds herself in. She holds an MA in Print
from the Royal College of Art (2024). Recent presentations include her solo
exhibition Weight of Me (2026), supported by Plaintiff Press, alongside
recognition through the Freelands Foundation Artists' Bursaries (2025) and the
Portrait of Humanity prize(2023).
