Lisa’s current practice explores motion, stillness and the passage of time: focussing on transient moments, shifting views and changing light, as seen through windows both physical and virtual.
She has a particular interest in cmyk and rgb print processes, translating spontaneous photos via slow multi layered processes using photo-etching, photopolymer, photo-litho and screenprint.
The works submitted include cmyk photopolymer prints and rgb screenprints. The skies in these works have been stripped of everything superfluous to the view: the window frame, curtains, surrounding walls etc no longer exist, allowing the shape of the window to become an architectural component. It can be seen as an opening, a space, a threshold to another world.
