Annie Ward is an artist and printmaker based in London. Her work depicts moments of connection to place, environment and collections, whether in pockets of the city or in the natural landscape. Annie primarily creates monotypes, exploring how the imprecise nature of this technique can inform her image-making process.
In her current work she is thinking about windows between place and memory, alongside the connections between colour and emotion. Recent prints explore present day London set against remembered versions of the city. She also continues to explore representations of landscape and colour in her work.
Annie graduated from MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in 2020 and studied the Drawing Intensive at the Royal Drawing School in 2023.
