Fern Lovande is guided by a mission statement to bridging the divide between the perceived domestic and ‘fine’ arts, evoking traditionally feminine sensibilities through the application of pattern and soft fabrics, used to the effect of singular, painterly works of art. Lovande graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 2024 with a BA in Fine Art. She is currently affiliated with Glasgow Print Studios, where she makes and exhibits work.
