Humanity Manifesto takes the form of a blackout poetry version of her dissertation conclusion, heavily inspired by Aaron E. McCollum’s book The Transhumanism Pandemic, with some extra writing inspired by the Richard Brautigan poem: All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace. The accompanying landscape print is a celebration of Hughes’ time at Falmouth, making a monotype as a way to connect to its beauty.
