Lucie graduated from the University of the Arts London in Illustration and Visual Media and is currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Print at the Royal College of Art. She was shortlisted for the 2025 Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and included in The Director’s Cut, their online exhibition. Between 2023 and 2026, she worked as a freelance screenprint assistant, including for an event hosted at the Barbican Centre.
Lucie’s multidisciplinary practice focuses on layering as a form of storytelling. During her undergraduate degree, she established a nuanced relationship with the space between an object and its canvas. She channels her identity into creating cultural artefacts by overlaying selected items with imagery of personal value. Her practice utilises Print as a contemporary practice and pushes the boundaries of perception. A new layer of understanding emerges as an image responds to its surroundings, prompting the viewer to question its new meaning.
