Felicity is a London based artist who works in multiple mediums, but primarily printmaking. She studied surface design at LCC and then completed her masters in Textile Futures at Saint Martins. She has exhibited at The Other Art Fair and at The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, where her Skulls etching was chosen by Catherine Daunt (curator of modern and contemporary graphic art at the British Museum) as one of her top picks of 2023. Felicity often uses elements of humour within her work through text and visual imagery, creating pieces that may have more than one meaning or that are surprising in the interpretation of her subject. Her work often has an autobiographical element referencing her own life or body, and through the canvas of her own form she pushes boundaries and questions the patriarchal status quo. She likes to make each print unique, as perfect repetition, whilst very skilful, doesn?t interest or excite her creatively. Her etching process is often experimental and inventive and she loves the surprise of something turning out not exactly how she intended but, thanks to the vagaries of the print gods, perhaps even better than imagined...
