I am a disabled painter and printmaker-I have Multiple Sclerosis. This has affected my manual dexterity and means my work is quite gestural and summary with more suggestion than detailed description. I began to produce monotypes after seeing the great Degas show at the Grand Palais in Paris in 1988. Francs Bacon and his Deeply organised chaos has also been an important influence.
