Spray Paint, Ink, And Carvings On Wooden Pallets
Edition of
Dimensions (WxH): 120 x 90cm

Mehdi Naeej Haghighi is an Iranian artist based in London. Born in 1998, he graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2026. His practice spans sculpture, metalwork, found objects, and printmaking. His work engages with moments where change is experienced as a rupture, leaving the former self only as trace, memory, or absence. It explores the distance between former and present selves, producing an altered, fractured continuity—where return is no longer possible. Mehdi seeks to plasticise this condition through material transformation. His works are traces of processes of displacement and change rather than representation, where lived experience is carried through material transformation, attrition, and trace.
