Bruno Diaz (b.1999, London) graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2022 with a BA in Painting and Printmaking. Now living and working in London, his practice has become engaged with the subject of image retention and speed. Working in mixed-media, the observational skills honed at the Royal Drawing School (2025) allow him to challenge the understanding of not only what can be seen, but also something of the invisible qualities of a place. These self-reflexive works are grounded in the representational, but call upon a repeated lexicon of playful and seemingly personal cartoon folly that urge us to slow down and look inside ourselves.
