Collagraph Mounted On Wood Edition of 5 Dimensions (WxH): 29.5 x 24cm
Max Eugeni’s work explores the forms of experience, questioning the paths that connect us to the world around us.
He is interested in deconstructing his own perception to expose its fragility, stripping back environments to the patterns in which he processes them; biases determine scale, time determines detail, and feeling determines focus. Print, Collage, and Sculpture are tools he uses to try and understand these processes, in these mediums he finds changeability and repeatability, two qualities that contribute to a dynamism he deems inherent to thinking, perceiving, and understanding.
Eugeni’s recent body of work, -scapes, takes moments of deep presence and dissects their foundational elements, reorganising and isolating them to create distilled experiences of space. Through Collagraph and Sculpture he balances a connection to both material and form – body and mind.
Eugeni graduated from Loughborough University in 2024 with a BA in Fine Art, and the Royal College of Art in 2025 with an MA in Print.
Exhibiting since 2022 he has shown at a number of independently run and larger mixed exhibitions. Most notably the ECC Venice Biennale, Royal College of Art Graduate Show, Manchester Art Fair, and the Independent Biennial.
