Bina Shah RWA, is a British artist and printmaker. Her work is site -responsive and deeply rooted in both urban and rural environments. She incorporates earth pigments gathered from the location where possible to make her own paint and printmaking inks and often stains papers and surfaces with her homemade botanical inks. Her work evolves organically as she often combines various printmaking techniques experimenting with different materials and processes that result in unexpected discoveries.
She was recently elected as an Academician at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol. She has exhibited widely and received numerous awards for printmaking including:

Winner of London Centre of Book Arts [LCBA] at East London Printmakers 2023
Excellence in Printmaking Prize ELPS at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2021
