£150.00
Sugarlift Etching
Edition of 15
Dimensions (WxH): 30 x 34.5cm

Irene Graham’s work has, at its heart a narrative which weaves multiple stories together, linking them. Life is an odyssey; one that plays out across history and reflects in the closest of relationships. Conversations from yesterday and today combine to create the most intimate connections. Her printmaking speaks of mythical pasts and of daily interactions. Imaginary beings and quiet observations. Family is key. Home is key. Memories are key. Stories are key. A keen interest in Ancient Greece, myth and female imagery alongside many years at home raising her daughters is what underpins her image making. Coming to printmaking later in life she has successfully exhibited at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and Bankside’s International original Print Exhibition.
