Charles Edgar is an emerging artist based in South East London. His work combines bold colour, striking portraiture and graphic composition to create prints that use humour and irony to explore contemporary culture, consumerism and social commentary.
Largely self-taught, Edgar developed his practice in a shared studio in Hackney before establishing his own print studio in Croydon. Since becoming captivated by the screenprinting process, he has built a growing body of work that has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions across London.
