Jo Boddy (b. 1979) is a printmaker based in Berkshire, whose work explores landscape through our connection to place and the natural world. Working across a range of printmaking processes, she creates both traditional editioned prints and large-scale, site-specific collaged works that combine printmaking with stitch and layered construction. Boddy holds an MA in Fine Art (Distinction) from Central Saint Martins (2024). In the same year, she was selected as one of the UAL Future 50 Founders and Freelancers. In 2025 she received the UAL/Clifford Chance Sculpture Award and in 2021 won the Lucie Green Printmakers Prize at the Southbank Printmakers Mini Print Competition, London. Her work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally, including her inaugural solo exhibition, Welcome (2025), at Clifford Chance. Selected group exhibitions include the International Miniature Print Exhibition (Japan), Small But Mighty (London), Planet Earth: Our Fragile Home (Bracknell), Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (London), the D31 Art Prize, and Makings (Reigate). Boddy is currently expanding her practice through the development of her skills in further printmaking processes and an increasing emphasis on collage, layering and material experimentation within her two-dimensional work.
