Lucy Lock is a painter and printmaker based in South East London. She is inspired by the beauty of the everyday, seeking special moments in the mundane and finding joy in the journey. Lock paints portraits of ordinary and extraordinary people, and her original prints portray landscapes and interiors that may otherwise be overlooked. Working across relief and intaglio techniques she explores the subtleties of line, tone and space, using a restrained palette and finely worked marks.
Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions across London and at the Ironbridge Printmaking Exhibition 2026. She has been longlisted for the Jackson's Art Prize (2025 & 2026) and the Women in Art Prize (2025).
