My practice spans printmaking, ceramics, and installation, exploring how natural systems shape movement, form, and perception. I am interested in the quiet forces that often go unnoticed, such as ocean currents, changing light, and long-term climatic processes. Rather than treating nature as a subject to represent, I use it as a way of thinking about how direction, form, and relationships emerge over time.
Recent projects draw inspiration from the Little Ice Age, examining how subtle shifts in ocean circulation and atmospheric conditions gradually transformed landscapes and everyday life. Through materials and process, I explore ideas of accumulation, drift, and coexistence, considering how small changes can produce lasting effects. My work often moves between scientific observation and poetic imagination, creating space for viewers to reflect on the connections between human experience and the wider environmental systems that surround us.
