Karina Savage is a printmaker whose practice explores the relationships between permanence and transience, place, and embodied experience. Through printmaking, she investigates how landscapes, memories, and the body leave traces that are both enduring and ephemeral, revealing the subtle ways in which we inhabit and remember the spaces around us. Working with a restrained visual language, she is drawn to the expressive potential of simplicity in line. She distils complex experiences into quiet, considered compositions, where line, form, and negative space become equally significant.
