Alison Pilkington is a painter and printmaker based in Dublin Ireland. Her work explores personal memories and nostalgia often woven into landscape and invented playful characters and motifs. She has exhibited extensive in both nationally and internationally. She is currently a member of the Graphic Print Studio Dublin where she works in many print disciplines. She has lectured in printmaking in a number of colleges in Ireland. Her approach to graphic work is loose and painterly in style and an extension of her painting practice. Use of colour and gestural line are key to her signature works. Her work is part of many public and private collections in Ireland and internationally.
