Fiona Clark’s work explores a range of subject matter from animals (always her first love) to humans and contemporary urban culture (definitely not her first love).
After a career in furniture making Fiona has been exploring her ideas through printmaking. She likes the process led nature of making prints. The quality of line achieved through intaglio techniques is the focus of her current experimental works. The diverse range of imagery provides an opportunity to test technical development as well as provide an opportunity to illustrate a response to both nature and culture.
Fiona graduated so long ago from Brighton it was still called a Polytechnic.
