Brie Barnacle is an award-winning artist, experienced art teacher and passionate advocate for printmaking. She holds a BA in Fine Art printmaking from UWIC and a MA in multidisciplinary printmaking from UWE. Brie is a member of the Bath Society of Artists, the Printmakers Council and a guest member of the Royal Society of Printmakers. She was awarded the RE membership prize for an outstanding work in 2025 and received the Anne Judd Print Prize for contribution to Print at the RBSA Print Prize exhibition 2025. Brie exhibits widely across the UK and internationally and has had her work published in the California Printmaker.
Brie explores the medium of landscape as a metaphor for her own lived experience of mothering and self-discovery. Her evocative images allude to the contemplative nature of the outdoors a terrain of connection and redemption. In this anthropic time, Brie’s work is made in urgency, documenting memories of precious spaces and moments that are disappearing.
