Liv Ye is a London based illustrator and artist trained at the University of the Arts London. Her practice explores quiet emotions, memory and the subtle relationships between people, places and the natural world. Working through drawing, printmaking and works on paper, she is interested in moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed: a pause under a tree, a small gesture, or a figure moving through an everyday scene. Her images often combine narrative observation with a gentle sense of atmosphere. Rather than presenting a single dramatic event, she creates quiet visual spaces where emotion can unfold slowly. Through line, texture and tonal depth, her recent etching and aquatint work reflects the fragile stillness found within ordinary public life, holding together movement, silence and the changing presence of nature.
