Charlotte Brown lives and works in London, UK. Her work utilises etching and lithography to explore the weight and worth of family relationships through objects. She employs traditional techniques which are often laborious and painstaking in their execution to explore themes of familial inheritance and relationships, invested objects and heirlooms, and Freudian psychologies. Printmaking and casting as iterative and reproductive processes refer to ideas surrounding generational inheritance of physical traits and objects. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2012 and recently completed an MA in Academic Practice at UAL.
