Anneline Schjødt Pedersen (Denmark, b. 1970) is as a printmaker self-taught working with traditional intaglio techniques. She engraves intuitively letting the motives develop spontaneously in the process. Poetic and expressive they contain a great sensitivity - abstract, often with figurative elements. Carried by small, condensed intimate narratives as a form of mind images they do not make a lot of noise but are inward-looking with an inherent drama. Due to the level of detail in the line you literally have to approach them for immersion. Anneline Schjødt Pedersen is inspired by and works with elements of upheaval, the organic, nature's markings, tactility and sensuous traces of growth and depravity, landscape abstractions, cells and microcosm, imbalances/imperfections, human relations and the human mind. Memberships: Danish Visual Artists (BKF - Billedkunstnernes Forbund), IAA - International Association of Art, Danish Printmakers Association, Danish Crafts & Design Association etc. Represented in the collection of Rothko Museum, Daugavpils, Latvia and Vardemuseerne, DK. Assignments: Censor at The Artists' Summer Exhibition, Tistrup, DK (2019-2020) and at Kunstforeningen Limfjordens juried Autumn Exhibition, Gimsinghoved, Struer, DK (2021-2022). Former member of the admission committee of Danish Crafts & Design Association and of the board of KKS - Female Artists' Society, DK.
