Patrick Davies Contemporary Art represents and exhibits British and international artists, with a particular focus on painting and works on paper. At Imprint, the gallery presents John Virtue Towards Black, Paintings & Monotypes, a solo presentation bringing together paintings and unique monotypes by one of Britain’s most distinguished contemporary painters. Working exclusively in black and white, Virtue has developed a singular practice spanning landscape and abstraction, with work held in major public collections including Tate, the British Museum, the V&A and the Yale Center for British Art.
