Sales & Payments
Imprint handles all sales made through the Fair and The Online Edition. Your Artist Portal allows you to track sales, view order information and manage any works that need to be sent directly to a collector.
Bank Details
Please add your bank details to the Artist Portal before the Fair. These are required for us to process payments for any works sold.
When a sale is made, Imprint deducts 40% commission + VAT on the commission, with the remaining balance paid to your registered bank account.
Please ensure your bank details are complete and correct before the Fair to avoid any delays in receiving payment.
When Your Work Sells
When a work is sold, the sale will appear in your Artist Portal, where you can view the order and any relevant fulfilment information.
For each sale, you'll be able to see:
Retail price
Imprint commission
VAT on the commission
Net amount payable to you
Fulfilment requirements, where applicable
You'll also receive confirmation of the sale through the portal.
Works Sold at the Fair
When a framed artwork is sold at the Fair, it will remain on display until the Fair closes on Sunday 1 November. The buyer will collect the work after the Fair, so you do not need to provide a replacement during the event.
Browser editions can be taken by the buyer at the point of purchase. If additional editions remain available, these can continue to be sold through the Fair and The Online Edition.
You do not need to arrange delivery for works collected directly from the Fair. If a collector requests shipping or purchases an edition that needs to be supplied directly by you, the relevant fulfilment information will appear in your Artist Portal.
Orders Fulfilled by the Artist
Some orders may need to be fulfilled directly by you, including purchases of additional or unframed editions that are not being collected from the Fair.
Where this applies, the order details and delivery address will be available through your Artist Portal.
Please dispatch the work within 7 days of receiving the order, using appropriate protective packaging, and retain proof of postage and tracking information.
The Online Edition
Works will be available to purchase through The Online Edition from 26 October - 8 November.
If an online order requires fulfilment directly from you, the order will appear in your Artist Portal with the information needed to complete it.
Please check your Artist Portal regularly throughout the online sales period and immediately following the Fair.
Returns
Collectors purchasing online or remotely may have the right to return their work within the applicable cancellation period.
Where a return is accepted, the work must be returned in its original condition. Once the return has been received and processed, the sale will be reversed and any artist payment already made will be adjusted accordingly.
Please Remember
Ensure your edition numbers are accurate, keep proof of postage and tracking information for any works you dispatch, and respond promptly to any fulfilment requests received through your Artist Portal.
